Natural Wine Association

The Association is a union of vinegrower and winemakers who are engaged only in organic (so called bio or biodynamic) viticulture and natural winemaking. Natural Wine Association was founded in February 2017 in Tbilisi by Georgian grape-growers and winemakers.

For a long time now, Amerimeri has been a highlight in the annual calendar of natural wine lovers, eagerly anticipated by many. The festival has been held since 2017, and one of its initiators was Soliko Tsaishvili—a pioneer in the revival of natural and Qvevri winemaking in Georgia and one of the founders of the Natural Wine Association. He conceived the name, which embodies the idea that this festival should unite Maranis from all wine-growing regions of Georgia, showcasing wines from their unique micro-zones. Additionally, the festival is designed to travel and be held in different cities across Georgia. The first Amerimeri took place in Kutaisi, as there was no such festival in Western Georgia at that time.
