About the Fair
Encounter Wine Fair made history in November 2024 as Virginia’s very first natural wine fair. Unlike industry-exclusive tastings, Encounter was built to open the natural wine world to everyone — seasoned drinkers and the simply curious alike. The 2026 edition returns to Studio 23 in Richmond for a full day of tastings, with a trade-only window in the morning, public hours in the afternoon, and satellite events at participating restaurants throughout the weekend.
