Noma Brings Its Ambitious Residency—and $1,500 Menus—to Los Angeles in 2026
Noma has released further details about its highly anticipated Los Angeles residency in 2026, first announced in July 2025. On January 12, the Copenhagen-based restaurant confirmed it will take over Los Angeles from March 11 through June 26 for a 16-week run.
Reservations will open on Monday, January 26 at 9 a.m. PST, with early access links sent to Noma’s newsletter subscribers on January 23. The price for Noma Los Angeles is set at $1,500 per person, which includes the full tasting menu, alcoholic pairings, service, and taxes. Reservations require full prepayment at the time of booking.
For comparison, Noma’s current winter menu in Copenhagen costs approximately $700 per person before pairings, with a wine pairing priced around $330 for lunch. Chef René Redzepi told the Los Angeles Times that the higher cost in Los Angeles reflects the significant expense of transporting roughly 130 staff members from Copenhagen, covering housing, and in some cases, schooling for employees’ children.
In addition to standard reservations, Noma will offer an “industry table” reserved for up-and-coming hospitality professionals under the age of 25. Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis, and those selected will be invited to experience the full Noma menu free of charge.
Community partnerships and initiatives
Through a series of local partnerships, Noma LA aims to engage with educators, hospitality professionals, and community leaders, learning from Los Angeles while giving back. The restaurant will donate 1 percent of revenue from public bookings (excluding taxes and refunds) to support professional training sessions and community dinner programs for school districts across the Los Angeles area.
The initiative will be administered by Noma’s sister nonprofit, MAD, in collaboration with Brigaid and its network of chefs, with a focus on helping schools transition toward healthier, scratch-cooked meals. Community dinners will bring together students, families, and educators to highlight the role of school food in children’s health, learning, and well-being.
Alongside the residency, Noma will open a Noma Projects retail shop in Silver Lake and host a series of events with MAD, Redzepi’s nonprofit dedicated to sustainability and food systems.
