Hailing from the southern region of Sarthe, nestled in the heart of the Loir Valley, Robinot's wine journey commenced in Paris, where he successfully managed L'Ange Vin, a groundbreaking natural wine bar, for a span of 15 years.

Driven by a vision to craft his own unique cuvées, he returned to his hometown, Chahaignes, securing slopes adorned with diverse terroirs featuring clay, flint, and limestone soils conducive to the flourishing of Chenin and Pineau d'Aunis. The inaugural vintage under his label was unveiled in 2002.

Concurrently, Jean-Pierre engages in a trading venture named L’Opéra du Vin, focusing on the vinification of grapes sourced from local winemakers.

What distinguishes his cuvées is their elegance and complexity. Robinot's wines adopt a patient maturation process in barrels and cellars. Possessing a structured profile suitable for prolonged aging, his bottles undeniably earn a coveted place in any wine connoisseur's cellar collection.
