vibration.
énergie.
sans compromis.
Élise Bougy took over her family's Champagne estate in 2016, continuing a legacy that began in 1920. With vineyards in Les Mesneux (1er Cru) and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (Grand Cru), she converted to organic viticulture in 2018 and received Ecocert certification in 2022. Biodynamic practices followed in 2021. A former wine agency entrepreneur ("Les Bouchons d'Elise"), she now crafts powerful, natural Champagnes shaped more by Burgundy than by large-house conventions.
"Vibrational energy is a feeling linked to a person, a plot or a wine"
Élise returned to her native Les Mesneux after studying in Dijon (oenology), Reims (business), and Avize (viticulture), driven by her late mother Maryse's passion for wine. Her leitmotiv is simple: to connect people and wine, creating synergies through unique grapes and rare combinations. Her vineyards are 100% alive—without disturbances, with no intervention on the juices.
"If I love my life so much, my vineyards are at 100% alive: without disturbances, with no intervention on the juices."
— On her farming philosophy
The estate has been in the family since 1920. Élise's mother Maryse was a strong, vibrant woman in the wine world who passed her passion to her daughter. Today Élise honors that legacy while charting a new course with organic and biodynamic methods.
Indigenous yeasts only, long élevage in wood (foudres, demi-muids, Burgundian barrels), spontaneous malolactic conversion, no fining, no filtration, and extremely limited sulfur. Wines are unapologetically artisanal, textured, and vinous—powerful yet precise.
From Premier Cru Montagne de Reims to Grand Cru Côte des Blancs
Élise farms two distinct terroirs: Les Mesneux in the Montagne de Reims (Premier Cru, southeastern facing slopes) and the famed Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs (Grand Cru). The diversity allows her to craft both powerful Blanc de Noirs and mineral Blanc de Blancs.
- Le Mont Chainqueux 1er Cru Les Mesneux — Planted 1965 by grandparents
- Chétillon de Haut Grand Cru Le Mesnil-sur-Oger — Chardonnay, pure chalk
- Les Coullemets New parcel at bottom of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger — Grandmother Marie-Louise Moriset's land
- Soils Chalk, clay, sand, limestone — complex geological patchwork
- Certified Organic 2022 Ecocert — Biodynamic practices since 2021
Le Mont Chainqueux lies at the foot of the Montagne de Reims slopes in Les Mesneux, facing southeast... Soils shift across the slope: chalk with a clay base at the bottom, moving toward sandy soils with clayey silt at the top.

Champagnes de terroir, vinous and structured
Élise produces both sparkling Champagnes and still Coteaux Champenois. Production is extremely limited—often just 2,000-3,000 bottles per cuvée. All wines are Brut Nature (zero dosage) or Extra Brut, showcasing purity and terroir expression.
This is not a polite aperitif Champagne—it is vinous, structured and intent on the table, yet still thrillingly drinkable.

Hors-Norme Vibration
The Vibration range represents Élise's most ambitious expression—wines that capture the "vibration" of her iconic parcels. These are exceptional cuvées from her first harvest (2018), selected from the finest bunches at the heart of Le Mont Chainqueux and Chétillon de Haut.
From the heart of Le Mont Chainqueux (Premier Cru), this Blanc de Noirs comes from the very finest bunches of the 2018 vintage. Vinified and aged 8 months in 600L barrel, then 42 months on lees under natural cork. Disgorged December 2022. Only 852 bottles produced. Hand-painted labels with unique brushstrokes signify the time and rarity.
From the heart of Chétillon de Haut (Grand Cru), this Blanc de Blancs represents the finest selection from the 2018 harvest. Aged 10 months in 600L demi-muid and 300L barrel, then 42 months on lees under natural cork. Disgorged December 2022. Only 637 bottles produced.
