Timothée Place - La Momoterie
A trained sommelier, based in Switzerland since 2017. In 2019, an encounter with two individuals sparked a passion for winemaking. overseeing 1.1 hectares of vineyards in Valais, focusing on natural practices and manual labor, supported by a dedicated team.
Dany and Stèphane, experienced organic winegrowers, provided invaluable guidance in Valais terroir and technical aspects. Under Marc Balzan and Andrea Grossman, Refining my skills in pruning, winemaking, and ecological harmony, starting with plots in Ayent.
The debut vintage in 2022 reflects a commitment to minimal intervention and a natural winemaking process tailored to each vintage's character.
Each plot, situated between 600 and 850 meters above sea level, is vinified uniquely to showcase its origin and preserve its authenticity.
The 2022 vintage, marked by heat and drought, yielded powerful wines with remarkable maturity, thanks to meticulous vineyard management.
