VIVANT !

  • Bistrot La Nord 39 Rue des Landais Soorts-Hossegor, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, 40150 France (map)

These individuals represent the essence of our bistro's playground, a facet we strive to accentuate whenever possible.

  1. Domaine UGO:

    • Pierre, the unofficial godfather of the restaurant, will present his remarkable sulfite-free Jurançon whites dating back to 2014.

  2. Maison Advinam:

    • Anne & Grégoire, crafting wines without chemical additives, operate between Calce (Pyrénées-Orientales) and Saint-Morillon (Gironde).

  3. Sadon Huguet:

    • Mathieu & Bénédicte, both winemakers and consultants, bring a breath of fresh air to Bordeaux with their natural wines, characterized by seriousness and occasional funkiness.

  4. Chais du Port de la Lune:

    • Laurent, part of the new era of urban winemakers, practices magic in a rehabilitated blockhouse in the Bataclan neighborhood (Bordeaux) since 2018.

  5. Château Lafitte:

    • Antoine, navigating the balance between land and vine, oversees the 14th-century Château de Monein and installs an eco-friendly, gravity-operated cellar.

  6. Le Bois Sacré:

    • Laurent & Pauline, the 5th generation cultivating indigenous grapes of Jurançon, offer wines nurtured by plants and fed with cow manure in vineyards surrounded by woods.

  7. Lestignac:

    • Camille & Mathias, from a family-owned biodynamic farm engaging in agroforestry, present a diverse range of reds and whites, from the "glouglou" to the most complex.

  8. Domaine du Bon Vin:

    • Jean-Baptiste, coming from Dordogne, presents organically cultivated grapes since 2010 and biodynamically since 2018, embodying a place where cows ripen the grapes.

  9. Domaine de la Pointe:

    • Allan presents the unique vineyard of Capbreton, over 600 years old, taken over by Cyril Laudet since 2018. He showcases the "Nature" part of his vines on a special terroir, the dunes facing the Ocean, and offers a taste of Armagnacs and Hard Kombuchas Ava.

Bonus:

  • Our favorite brewer, La Brasserie Naturelle des Landes (Lit-et-Mixe), will grace us with organic, artisanal, and unfiltered beers in the spirit of living wine.

Day's Schedule:

  • 11 am-7 pm: Open wine tasting to the public

  • 12 pm-5 pm: Street food-inspired small dishes at affordable prices

  • From 6 pm: DJ Set by Small P, the prodigy of mixing from the Landes, resident DJ of Vinyl Nights at La Nord

  • 8:30 pm: Winemaker's dinner (very limited seats, reservation only, contact us quickly)

  • After the dinner, we'll clear the tables and chairs for the most enthusiastic to groove to the vinyl prowess of our own little Paul.
