Breitstein - Pierres Larges

CHF 26.00

Ruhlmann-Dirringer

Alsace

Wine made of partly Pinot Noir and partly Pinot Gris of clay and granite which can potentially produce powerful wines, but due to the delicate vinification has become a light, fresh yet layered wine.

The grapes are kept together, in whole bunches (‘semi-carbo’) for 10 days in barrels, after which it is aged for almost a year in demi-muids. The Pinot Gris is harvested a little less ripe.
