Léo Dirringer, born in 1992, is a promising young winemaker from Alsace. His family's vineyard, Domaine Ruhlmann Dirringer, is situated in Dambach la Ville, along the picturesque Alsace Wine Route. Given the winemaking legacy of his parents, it was only fitting for Léo to pursue a career in viticulture. Following the completion of his oenology diploma in Montpellier, he ventured to Switzerland. During an internship with Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, he embraced the significance of grape quality and terroir respect. Inspired by a transformative experience with Chalasses Marnes Bleues 2011 by Ganevat, he adopted the path of sulfur-free vinification for purity. In 2016, Léo assumed control of his family's estate, initiating its transition to organic viticulture.
